Spaghetti Factory Food Review

Also known as the “First Italian Spaghetti Factory”, this is one of our favorite dining places. Relatively cheap for high quality food and service, plus the fact that you can mix and match the pasta and the sauce makes the Spaghetti factory a very unique restaurant. We used to visit the place very often that even the manager recognizes us.

Bigby’s Food Review

We were treated by my highschool friends at Bigby’s when we went to Cagayan de Oro. The last time my wife and I ate at Bigby’s in Cagayan de Oro was during my brother’s wedding a few years ago, so we were curious how the food evolved during those years.

Wham! burgers Food Review

I was feeling a bit hungry after buying tickets for a movie, so we looked for a place where I could grab a bite to eat before the movie starts. Peanut Butter Co. (PBCo.) was the first choice but decided to go there for dinner instead. So we ended up eating in Wham! Burgers which wasn’t a bad idea at all. Their burgers live up to their promise of only serving the freshest 1/3 pound burger (claims that their patties are never frozen).

A Video Explanation About The US Debt Crisis

I found this 5-minute video on facebook explaining how the credit system works in the US and all countries in general (Philippines included). This is very informative and makes it very easy for the common person to understand the global financial system. However, I would like to highlight that increasing the taxes here in the Philippines is NOT effective as our taxes already rival those of 1st world countries. The rampant corruption in the Philippine government also makes raising taxes useless as it will just be pocketed by the greedy politicians.

Here is another video explaining the Subprime crisis that hit the US in 2008. Also very informative and easy to understand.

200 Pigs Burn to a Crispy Death in a Cebu Piggery Fire

I saw this on the news a few hours ago and I just had to blog it. It’s so funny but yummy at the same time. The poor pigs were never able to escape their fiery but crispy deaths. Yum!!! I guess this incident is an advance celebration for the Lechon festival?

Burgoo Food Review

We normally don’t eat in this restaurant because the food is expensive nor do we usually go to Power Plant Mall because it is too sossy. However, we were getting bored of Glorietta and the adjacent malls as well as SM MOA and Megamall, so we decided to visit Power Plant Mall in Rockwell. Going up the escalator from the parking area, there was a Burgoo employee handing out buy-1 take-1 coupons for Burgoo, so that solved the problem of looking for a place to have dinner. :D

Huge Brazo de Mercedes by Hizon’s Cakes and Pastries

We dropped by Greenhills Shopping Center a few weeks ago to have my niece’s Wii modified. By the way, the guy did a very poor job of modifying the Wii by the way and I had to finish his work. Anyway, we saw this HUGE Brazo de Mercedes while waiting for the drink we bought at Happy Lemon .

Mr. Jones Food Review

My wife was hyped by her teammates about the milkshake of a restaurant in Greenbelt 5 — Mr. Jones. So we headed there for lunch before proceeding to her 2nd post-operation check-up in the American Eye Center.

Conti’s Pastry Shop and Restaurant Food Review

Conti’s is known for its desserts, especially the very famous Mango Bravo, which is a favorite of many people including yours truly. We associate the restaurant as a dessert place so we usually don’t have our meals here (Greenbelt 2 branch). But we were feeling a bit adventurous so we decided to have our dinner and dessert here.

Lasik Experience at the American Eye Center

My parents have been asking me to have my myopic eyes treated with laser surgery ever since years ago, after my dad and some aunts/uncles have had successful surgery, but I was always afraid and never found the courage… until now. So my husband scheduled an appointment (via email) for me with my dad’s doctor, Dr. Jack Arroyo, at the American Eye Center on July 2, and it all began.

Chick-in Chicken Inasal Food Review

This fast food joint opened near our house a few months ago and we always pass by this place on our way home. We’ve always wanted to try it but somehow we never did, maybe because it was one of those places that’s a bit too far on foot but also too near to drive. Anyway, we finally decided to try this place after I picked up my wife from work. So here is our food review.
